If you work on Trane RTUs — Odyssey, Voyager, or Precedent units with the ReliaTel control board — you know the drill: pull out the manual, count the jumper taps, and try to enter test mode without shorting the wrong pins.
It’s a few minutes every time. Multiply that by the number of units you touch in a week and it adds up fast.
The ReliaTel Test Mode Thing takes the lookup table out of your hands. Hook up your jumpers to the board, turn the dial on the Thing to the test mode you want, and the correct pins fire.
No manual. No guessing. Just land on the mode and go.
What it does.
Turn the dial.
Select the test mode you want — resistance test, fan test, compressor test, and more. Each position maps directly to a ReliaTel test mode.
Hook up and go.
Standard jumper connections to the ReliaTel board. The dial selects which pins fire. No counting tap contacts on the fly.
Works on the whole family.
Compatible with Trane Odyssey, Voyager, and Precedent units — any RTU with a ReliaTel control board.
